What is Cecil Mann?

Every boy has men that impact their lives and help shape them into the man they grow up to be. I was lucky enough to have meet Cecil. Cecil had a garage that the neighborhood boys would go to all of the time. Cecil had all the tools we needed to work on our bikes, take them apart and repair them, patch the tire tube, clean our chrome. Cecil was a master at bodywork and mixing and matching paint. Cecil would let us watch as he worked his magic. Cecil would pay us "knucklehead boys" for washing cars and truck that come in for repair. Cecil taught me how to change a battery in a car, replace a starter and alternator, fanbelts. Beside that Cecil taught us respect for our elders and other, to help people in neighborhood when they needed it. Cecil would take us fishing, he taught me how to make and run a troutline and yoyos. How to tightline for catfish. Cecil taught me how to hunt deer, squirrel,and rabbit. 

Cecil was the man that made me who I am today. I know I can provide and feed my family, grow a garden, fix or work on our trucks. The mindset of try to fix it yourself before spending money hiring someone to do it. You cant tear it up if it already broke!
